I'm from California. I was trying to bring an old (Chinese-branded) karaoke dvd player back from the dead when I realized the original DVD(s) that came with it were missing. After searching on Baidu for a bit, I found this site, which if anything, is a reminder of the massive disparity in popularity of home karaoke between where I am and (probably) in Asia in general. I'm hoping what little Chinese I can read will be enough to navigate this site and find out how you guys do karaoke. More pessimisticly though, I'll probably be monitored by multiple parties (hello NSA!) given the nature of the connection I have to use. Nice to meet you all.
